GiftYa simplifies gift management. There are situations where you may need to deactivate your card from your GiftYa. Here are some reasons for disconnecting your card:
- The current linked card has expired.
- The current linked card has been lost or stolen.
- You wish to link a different card.
- Our support team has advised you to link a new card due to issues receiving your credit.
- You wish to select a different redemption method.
Need to unlink your connected card?
You can do this effortlessly on our website or app! Just follow these steps:
- Sign in to your account and choose your GiftYa.
- Click the dropdown menu labeled "Manage Gift."
- Select "Disconnect" from the dropdown menu.
Once you've disconnected your card, you can either link a new card to your gift or choose a different redemption option!
*Redemption options may vary by merchant.
Please note that if an extra $5 was added during the activation of your gift to your card, these additional funds will be forfeited upon card deactivation.
