For most national brands, you can opt for a traditional eGift as a redemption choice, excluding Visa. Our local brands offer redemption options, allowing you to use your GiftYa at the merchant even if they lack an existing gift card program.
If you opt to select a new merchant, a processing fee of $0.99 will be deducted from your GiftYa balance. There is no limit to how many times a gift recipient can choose a new merchant, and the processing fee will be deducted each time a swap is performed.
Follow these steps to swap for a different merchant:
- Access your gift through the link sent via text or email and log into your account.
- Choose the "Swap for a different merchant" option.
- Select a new merchant.
- Pick from a national brand or a local merchant in your area by entering your zip code.
- Confirm your new merchant
- Choose a method to use your gift.
